Melbourne Comedy Group "Sea Shanty Circus" provided a professional, lively, humorous and thoroughly engaging performance for our students. Their terrific props and costumes added greatly to the overall success of the performance.

What are Sea Shanties?

Sea shanties are songs developed by sailors in order to synchronise their movements during work with different songs for different tasks and situations. The "short drag" shanty, the "pumping" shanty or the "stamp'n'go" shanty being examples.

Sea Shanty Circus will reflect this in their performance, with songs to match the things they see around them, they will create the world of the sailor as they move their "boat" from place to place.
